Morse Law paper
Moore's Law
Moore's law is a prediction of technology upgrading. Gordon Moore predicted that the number of transistors on a microprocessor would double in approximately 18 months. People say are technology doubles every 18 months also.
You might think that music hasn't changed technology much over the years, but it has so so much. You don't just hear people rocking out on there guitar on the porch much any more. They first had records, tapes, radio, Cd's, to now a little contraption most teenagers have. The Ipod. The Ipod has revolutionized music you can listen to it anywhere.
Its not just how your listening to the music. It's also the music itself We used to just have country, The blues, and Rock and Roll. Now we have so much more we have techno, indie, we have alternative, rap, we even have R n B. And for most of these we use technology.
For Techno Music a lot of people can even make beats just like a DJ from a system called dekadance right from home! People in a recording studio uses technology to put different sounds (beats) together and make a song you can dance with. This also influences teens and adults. What we listens to effects what kind of dances we go to, how we act, sometimes even the friends we hang out with, how we dress even. So the technology that we get each year effects us greatly.
Now I'm not saying this theory is completely right with music, and other things but it seems very likely to be true.
